Screen-printing is the most common form of printing on fabric in Bali and across the world. There are many different types of inks to choose from when printing on garments, such as Rubber, Plastisol, Discharge, and Fancy. We will help you determine which ink is best for your product and guide you through the screen-printing process.
How to Get Started
1. Send us a “working file” PDF of your design. (This file should be scaled to the exact size you want the image to be). For more complex multi-colored designs, we ask that you send each color layer as a separate PDF file.
2. Once we receive your artwork and payment, we will process your artwork into “films”. These films will then be made into Screens*. The screen will be used to print the ink/color on the fabric. One film and one screen are created for each color in your design. For example: if you have 4 colors in your design, you will need 4 films and 4 screens.
3. A printed sample is then made for your approval. You can review the sample via photos, or we can ship the sample directly to you (shipping charges will apply). For proper color matching, we ask that you provide us with the correct Pantone Color Code per color used. This will ensure we can produce the exact colors you desire and save a lot of time by avoiding color-matching errors.
4. Once you approve the sample, we will begin screen-printing your production!
*Pricing for screen-printing depends on the design, placement, and colors.
